The same unit, two different price tags

Many powersports dealers still advertise a price that doesn’t include freight, prep, or doc fees — those get added at the desk. We show every dollar up front. Here’s the same Polaris Sportsman 450 H.O. priced both ways.

Pricing item	✓ Friendly Powersports	Non-transparent dealer
Advertised price	$7,799	$7,799
Freight (Polaris)	Included	+ ~$700 at desk
Prep (Assembly)	Included	+ $400–$800 at desk
Documentation fee	Included	+ $400–$500 at desk
What you actually pay	$7,799	~$9,300+
