Boasting the all-new, compact 799cc LC8c parallel twin motor, nestled into one of the lightest frames around, the new KTM 790 DUKE is all about being fast everywhere, especially the corners. The delivery of the 105 hp (78 kW) and 87 Nm is efficiently controlled by advanced electronics and next-generation rider aids, making it impressively easy to race ahead of the pack.

ENGINE & EXHAUST

Lightweight and compact, a new 799 cc, 8-valve DOHC parallel twin engine sits at the heart of the new KTM 790 DUKE. Boasting exceptional efficiency with class-leading levels of power and torque (105 hp & 87 Nm), this new twin is a middle-weight force to be reckoned with.

CHASSIS

The KTM 790 DUKE's incredible handling characteristics is founded on the dynamic, loadbearing design of the engine. A large part of its agility comes from an all-new lightweight frame package, utilizing the engine as a central handling element. The chromoly steel frame also features an innovative cast aluminum subframe, keeping the chassis rigid and compact for sharper turn-in and greater lean angles, allowing it to slice through the turns with extreme responsiveness.

ERGONOMICS & COMFORT

Designed to deliver confidence-inspiring control that suits all riders. The KTM 790 DUKE features 4-way adjustable handlebars, a race-inspired seating position and high-set foot pegs, perfectly suited for more aggressive riding styles.

BODYWORK & GRAPHICS

The hunkered down aggressive stance of the new KTM 790 DUKE is intimidating to all who cross its path. It clearly takes some of its design cues from the 1290 SUPER DUKE R - most obvious being the unique LED headlight cluster. The distinctive sharp lines and compact 11/13 proportions are set off by signature KTM orange graphics, leaving no doubt as to its pure road-dominating intentions.

SOFTWARE & ELECTRONICS

The KTM 790 DUKE comes with some serious brainpower as standard. Riders can choose from four ride modes, namely Sport for more aggressive riding, Street for urban riding, Rain for when things get a little slippery and, the ultimate attack mode called Track. This awards KTM 790 DUKE pilots with full power output, Launch Control, increased throttle response and the ability to disengage the anti-wheelie function for rear-wheel antics.
